What Pastepile is
Pastepile is a privacy-first pastebin for sharing text and code. No account is required, pastes are unlisted by default, and end-to-end encrypted pastes keep their key in the link so the server never sees the content. It includes a public REST API, a CLI, editor extensions, an MCP server that gives AI assistants durable memory, and a free offline Developer Toolbox. The core product is free; Pastepile Pro adds advanced encrypted workflows.
One-line version: Pastepile is the privacy-first pastebin: share text and code with no account, unlisted by default, end-to-end encrypted when it matters.
The name is always written as one word with a capital P: Pastepile. Never "PastePile", "Paste Pile", or "pastepile" in prose.
The mark
Three stacked sheets, a pile of pastes. Use it in Pastepile Blue, black, or white. Keep clear space equal to the mark's height. Never recolor it outside those three, restack, skew, outline, or add effects to it, and never combine it with your own mark into a single logo. Download the mark (SVG) or PNG.
One honest blue
Pastepile uses a single blue accent with restrained neutrals, in light and dark. When you reference Pastepile in your own material, these are the approved values.
Three voices
The workhorse for running text and interface copy. Neutral and legible at every size.

How Pastepile speaks
- Calm and direct
Short sentences. The point first. No exclamation marks.
- Honest by default
We say what exists, what it costs, and what we can and cannot see. Never fake urgency, never dark patterns.
- Privacy-first
The private path is the default path, and the copy says so plainly.
- Developer-focused
Precise technical language over marketing language. Numbers are exact and tested.
When quoting or describing Pastepile, plain accuracy beats enthusiasm. "Pastepile is a privacy-first pastebin" is on brand; "the revolutionary new way to share" is not.
Using the brand
- You may use the name and mark to say your product integrates with, imports from, or exports to Pastepile.
- Screenshots of the product are welcome in reviews, docs, and articles.
- Do not use the name or mark to imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation, and do not use them in your own product name, domain, or app icon.
- Do not modify the mark or set the wordmark in another typeface.
